Retaining the Firm

We understand that dealing with legal matters is stressful enough, that is why we offer simple, easy-to-understand retainer agreements and detailed billing on a regular basis.

When you work with us, you will receive an engagement agreement to review and sign. Once you have signed your engagement agreement, you will place an initial deposit retainer in our IOLTA Trust account as security against future work performed on your case. Everything you deposit with the Firm is yours until we earn it. Plain and simple.

We use this deposit retainer system to ensure that our clients always have the funds on deposit necessary to cover their legal services, and to ensure the Firm is paid for the work it performs. We know legal fees can be expensive, so we offer payments through Affirm for qualified clients. We bill every week, so you always know where you stand, and offer automatic renewal options for your convenience. If you have questions about your invoice, we are happy to answer them.

To benefit our clients, we strive to have the most qualified member of our staff who bills at the lowest hourly rate create initial drafts and assist our attorneys as much as possible. This not only saves our clients’ money, but provides faster service. All work is supervised by an attorney, but this commitment ensures our clients receive exceptional service and conserve funds.

Our team will ask you to provide basic information about yourself, the other party, and the type of matter you need assistance with. Once we have confirmed your appointment, we will send you a reminder of your consultation appointment via e-mail and again via text message closer to your appointment date.

During your consultation, the attorney will provide you with an overview of the legal process of your type of case, recommend a legal strategy to help you accomplish your goals, answer questions you may have related to your specific case, and provide you with a deposit retainer quote.
